Nigerians have taken to social media to express happiness after France won Argentina 4-3 in their World Cup tie on Saturday.
A penalty from Antoine Griezmann, a stunner from Benjamin Pavard and two great goals by 19-year-old Kylian Mbappe ensured victory for coach Didier Deschamps’s Les Blues side.
However, Jorge Sampaoli’s side did not go down without a fight, scoring their third on the stroke of regulation time after Angel Di Maria and Gabriel Mercado had grabbed one each earlier.
Nigerians who are still annoyed with Super Eagles‘s 2-1 loss to Argentina on June 26 expressed their happiness at the Albiceleste‘s exit from Russia 2018.
