Hollywood actress Viola Davis has acquired a former South Carolina plantation where she was born 55 years ago.
Buying this former plantation on her 55th birthday, marks an important part of Viola Davis life. She took to her social media page to announce she’s purchased the former St. Matthews, South Carolina plantation.
She shared a picture of the property with caption;
“The above is the house where I was born August 11, 1965. It is the birthplace of my story. Today on my 55th year of life….I own it….all of it.”
