’He’s welcome home’, Lagos APC reacts as Jandor returns to party

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has welcomed Abdul-Azeez Adediran, the 2023 governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Adeniran, popularly known as Jandor announced on Monday that he has officially rejoined the APC after he resigned from the PDP last week.

Reacting to his return to APC, the party’s spokesperson in Lagos, Seye Oladejo said he was happy to welcome Jandor back to the ruling party.

He said, “He is welcome home. We are happy that he now appreciates the fact that Lagos State is still better and safer in the hands of the progressives, who have enjoyed the uninterrupted trust and confidence of our people since the inception of this dispensation.”

Oladejo further stated that there are numerous opportunities within the party for Jandor to contribute to.

He added that more politicians are expected to defect and join the APC in line with their party’s plan to support the government.

“We are expecting more defectors in the days ahead,” he said.
