Benue Crisis: I’m here not just to show my face – Tinubu tells Alia

President Bola Tinubu has has said he is not in Benue State just to show his face but to share in the grief of the people of the state.

The President stated this on Wednesday, while on on a visit to the state following the burning to death of over 200 residents in Yelewata by suspected herdsmen.

The President is in Makurdi, as part of efforts to address the violent attacks in Benue State.

Tinubu said: “We’re here not just to show our faces but to share in your grieves, and condole you for the lost of lives that have occurred.”
