Popular Channels Television anchor, Seun Okinbaloye has clarified his viral statement that the 2027 election has already been rigged.

Speaking during Sunday Politics, Okinbaloye said his warning named no political party, accused no candidate and identified no sponsor.

He said he was only warning Nigerians that fake voter cards and compromised voter register are already rigging the 2027 election.

“In my warning, I didn’t name any political party, accuse any candidate, and identify any sponsor. I only said 2027 election is already being rigged through fake voter register,” Okinbaloye said.

He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to urgently clean up the voter register and remove fake and AI-generated voter cards before the 2027 elections.

Okinbaloye had on Friday during Politics Today warned that the 2027 election is already being rigged through fake voter registration.

His warning generated massive reactions, with some people saying he was accusing APC, while others said he was accusing INEC.
