I Used To Borrow Adekunle Gold Mum’s Old Car For Shows – Simi

Nigerian music star, Simi has recounted how she always borrowed her mother-in-law’s car to attend musical shows.

The mother of one posted a skit of a young lady attempting to convince O2 security she’s singer Tems in to gain access to Wizkid’s MIL tour, which will kick off on September 10, 2021 with a show at Orpheum Theatre in Boston.

Relating her narration to the skit, the songstress disclosed that she could totally relate with the way security outfits treat uninvited guests at shows.

According to Simi, in the past when she went for shows, the security always made her call the organisers to come out and get her or forfeit not gaining admission into the shows.

Captioning the skit which was shared via her Insta story, the “Love Don’t Care” singer wrote: “This reminds me of the time when I was in the beginning of blowing and I was driving my now mother in law’s old car that they borrowed me.

“Anytime I drive to a show, the security will stop me and tell me to call the organisers to come and collect me. Too many times.”
