Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has reacted to the arrest of of Nigerian socialite Raymond Igbalode popularly called Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi born Raymond Igbalode was picked up by the FBI and INTERPOL in his Pallaza Versace Apartment in Dubai alongside his friend Mr. Woodbery in the US after being accused of fraud.
Hushpuppi was alleged to have stolen over $100m meant for native Americans.
Sharing his view on the alleged arrest, Speed Darlington said that Hushpuppi caused his own downfall.
According to the controversial rapper, Hushpuppi exposed himself by flaunting his flamboyant lifestyle on social media.
Taking to his Instagram page, Speed Darlington said,
“…this is the side effect of being in love with social media, and being on Instagram.
“Back in the 90s, when guys blow, they looked for musicians to make them a song with their name on it. But now, when guys blow, they rush to Instagram to stunt and to expose themselves.”
