Ex BBnaija star Cross Okonkwo, has criticized Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, over a social media post celebrating her daughter in-laws graduation from a UK university.
Aisha Buhari took to her Instagram page to celebrate her daughter in-law, who graduated from Coventry University, United Kingdom with First class honours in Architectural Science.
The First Lady posted a photo of herself, her son, Yusuf, and his wife, Zahra. She said:
“ Congratulations to Mrs Zahra B. Buhari on your graduation with First Class Honors in Architectural Science. Wishing you all the best.
However, Aisha’s post didn’t go well with some Nigerians who tagged it as insensitive.
Cross, also took to his twitter page to criticize the wife of the president for her post.
He highlighted on her being a mother to the citizens of Nigeria, and since public university students are currently on strike, celebrating her in-laws graduation would feel like she’s rubbing it on the faces of other Nigerian students affected by the ongoing prolonged ASUU strike.
