Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has been decorated with a doctorate in arts and culture from the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG University) in Benin Republic.
The 55-year-old announced the good news in an Instagram post on Monday where she posted photos of herself and others at the ceremony.
Speaking on the recognition, Ireti stated that she has a healthy expectation of receiving accolades but she did not see this coming.
She wrote: “I have envisaged many things for myself… and having put, and still putting in the work, I have a healthy expectation of receiving “accolades”. But at no point did I see THIS coming… Mommy would have been mighty proud!!*Dr. Doyle has a nice ring to it!”
