I Don’t Prioritize Online Friendships – Shirley Igwe

An actress, Shirley Igwe, has said she does not prioritize friendships on social media. She also stated that she would not take offence if any of her friends does not celebrate her on social media.

She told Sunday Scoop; “Let those who derive joy from Instagram do so for themselves.

I am yet to prioritize Instagram to that extent. Real life/offline one-on-one connection is by far more real to me.”

Speaking on how she would react if her friends miss out on her special days, she said;

“I don’t think I have a friend who would deliberately miss out on my special day if invited. I don’t have friends like that.

However, there will be concrete reasons, should a friend miss out on my special day and vice-versa.”

Igwe also maintained that she saw nothing wrong in actress going nude in a movie, though she could not do it.

The actress also acknowledged that being famous had given her a ‘voice of influence’.
