Nollywood actress and producer Allwell Ademola has reportedly passed away, according to accounts shared by entertainment sources on Saturday.
The 43-year-old was said to have suffered a heart attack at her home before being rushed to the hospital, based on reports circulating within the film community.
Colleagues and friends have been reacting emotionally to the news. Actress Faithia Williams wrote on Instagram:
“Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar… Allwell.”
Similarly, actress Mide Martins shared a photo of Ademola on Facebook, writing:
“BLACK SATURDAY… This is not fair. May God forgive your shortcomings, Allwell.”
Actor Damola Olatunji posted a candlelight image with the caption, “Life is a mirage.”
Another colleague, Bidemi Kosoko, expressed disbelief, saying:
“No way. No, no, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid… I refuse to accept this. Just reply to my message, please. I’ll wait for your reply.”
