Popular Nigerian singer/songwriter, Timi Dakolo has taken to social media to recount how a friend tried to block him from getting a job.
He explained that the friend was in a room where people were planning an event and he was suggested to perform at the event.
While everyone in the room were strangers to him, only that friend knew him personally.
Yet, the one friend he had in the room tried to discourage them from giving him the job.
He said it was one of the strangers in the room who later asked if he has a problem with the woman because she was trying to block him from getting the job.
Timi said he got the job eventually and the incident taught him a lesson.
