A gospel singer, Testimony Jaga, has said that beyond making good music, he is also passionate about impacting the lives of others through social welfare.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, the singer said; “Beyond making music, I am also passionate about impacting the lives of as many people as possible.
The essence of Christianity is actually to spread the love, and those are the principles I live my life by.
Spreading the gospel to the streets and the ‘unchurched’ (people who don’t attend churches) through my Street Gospel Movement.”
Jaga, who recently released his debut Extended Play album titled, ‘Jesus is Here, Jaga is Here’, shortly after concluding his tour of the United States of America.
United Kingdom and Canada, noted that the seven-track album features collaborations with other gospel singers, such as Adeyinka Alaseyori, Henrisoul, and Neon Adejo.
The singer, who describes his style of music as fuji-pop, added that the EP is a reflection of his life’s journey, which showcases his musical versatility, blending fuji, afrobeats, RnB, highlife, and dancehall, while delivering uplifting lyrics.
He added; “This EP is not just music; it is a testimony of faith and artistry. It is my hope and expectation that everybody who listens to the album will be blessed.
Music, especially the gospel variant, is supposed to be a balm to soothe troubled souls.”
