Muyiwa Sikiru, a truck driver , has publicly disgraced his wife by tying her to a well in Oke-Aro area of Akure, the capital of Ondo state, over the discovery of his wife’s alleged infidelity.
As amounted, it was said that the husband had travelled for three months, only to return home and discover that his wife was living and having sexual relations with another man in their matrimonial home.
As reported, he is said to work outside the state but chose to settle his family in Akure. On arrival from work, sources said neighbors and friends who noticed that his wife had another man living with her in the house, informed him of his wife’s mischief.
Irritated by the news, he reportedly dragged his wife outside from the room and tied her to the well outside the house.
The boyfriend, who had gone to the toilet escaped through the window when he overheard the woman’s husband shouting at the top of his voice. Due to the early intervention of some elders in the area, the woman was fortunate enough to be unharmed by the husband.
They later pleaded with him and took the wife and her alleged boyfriend to the police station.
