A bandit attack in Janbako community of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, left 10 people dead.
According to reports, local vigilantes withstood the bandits who invaded the community by 10.30 am yesterday January 17.
5 out of the 10 people killed were said to be the vigilantes, and four other people were also injured.
An eyewitness said;
“Bandits shot and killed 10 innocent people during the attack while four people sustained gunshot wounds in the village.”
Residents of the community appealed to the state and federal governments to deploy more security personnel to the area.
