Anambra Youths Protest The Killing Of 22-Year-Old Boy By Police

In the early hours of Thursday, 21st of May, 2020, Enugwu-Ukwu youths numbering over 300 staged a protest over the killing of 22-year old Anthony Okafor popularly known as Junior, an Enugwu-Ukwu indigine.

According to 1knews reports, the boy was killed by a police vehicle that chased him for violating the Federal Government nationwide curfew. He was said to have died around 8:15 Pm on Wednesday, 20th May 2020.

The protesting youths blocked the Enugwu-Ukwu axis of Old Enugu – Onitsha Expressway.
