Ayodele Replies Sheikh Gumi Over Religious Comments Against Wike

Coronavirus: More Prominent People Will Die In Nigeria – Primate Elijah Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reacted to the recent comments attributed to a popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.

Recall that in a video he posted on his official Facebook account, Sheikh Gumi criticised Wike for proposing to collaborate with Israel ambassador to secure Abuja city.

Gumi described Wike’s action as satanic and claimed that if he succeeds in collaborating with Israel, Abuja will be an extension of Tel Aviv.

The cleric said Muslims appointed into top security positions are only figureheads and not in charge of military command and control.

He went on to curse citizens who campaigned assiduously for the Muslim-Muslim ticket as worthless hypocrites and money-mongers who chased dollars for pleasure and worldly purposes.

Reacting to the development, Ayodele advised Gumi to concentrate on his religion and leave Christians alone.

According to Nigerian Tribune, Ayodele said Gumi should leave Wike alone because the FCT minister is not representing Christianity and if he doesn’t do the right thing, it is not Christianity’s fault.

Gumi should stop talking about Christians; he should talk about his own religion. He is a jihadist that this government must be careful of. Leave Wike alone and let him do his job, stop molesting Christians. If the minister doesn’t do the right thing, it is not about Christianity.” Ayodele stated.
