Cash Withdrawal Limit: There’s No Nigerian That Needs More Than N100K Cash Weekly — Reno Omokri

Former aide to Goodluck Jonathan and activist, Reno Omokri has given his opinion on the newly imposed cash withdrawal limit by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Recall that the CBN recently restricted the maximum cash withdrawal over-the-counter (OTC) by individuals and corporate organizations per week to N100,000 and N500,000, respectively.

Reacting to criticisms that have trailed the policy, Omokri stated that there is no Nigerian that needs more than N100K cash weekly.

He added that other than paying for transport fares or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless.

He also stated that it is kidnappers, bandits and s3xual bandits and urgent 2k girls who are fighting this policy by using political godfathers.

He Tweeted;

”There is no Nigerian that needs more than 100k cash weekly. Other than paying bus conductor or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless. It is kidnappers, bandits and s3xual bandits (urgent 2k girls) who are fighting this policy using political godfathers.”
