‘Don’t threaten me with strike, I like it when you go on strike – Nyesom Wike warns

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has warned groups not to threaten him with strike action.

Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja, Wike said he cannot be moved with strike.

According to him, he likes it when they go on strike as it helps him save more money.

Don’t threaten me with strike with strike, I like it. When you go on strike, I save money. Even if you come back, I won’t pay. We will determine it in court. It is not about promising. Its reality on ground. I don’t believe in theory. So, mind you too,” Nyesom Wike said.

The FCT Minister has been in the news and some have accused him of promoting policies that are against Islamic religious alignments.

However, Wike said he is not against the religion of Islam as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Adding that those trying to whip religious sentiment were mischievously doing so in order to score some cheap political points.
