DSS Reacts To Allegation Of Invading CBN Governor’s Office

The Department of State Services (DSS) has opened up after reports emerged yesterday that it allegedly invaded the office of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele to arrest him.

According to DSS, the story is false.

The Nation reported that it’s spokesman, Dr Peter Afunanya, in a short statement on Monday, said: “The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to the false news making the round that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria and arrested its Governor, today 16/1/23. This is fake news and quite misleading.”
