The Special Anti-Robbery Squad has been dissolved by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.
The police boss announced the dissolution of a subunit of the force during a live broadcast today.
He added that there will be redeployment of all officers serving within the unit while an investigation into activities will be undertaking with civil societies organisation and culprits punished.
