Dara expressed confidence that with the way things are going with the present administration, in a few months from now, the FCT will wear a new look because there will be multiple projects all around the territory.

He said natives of the FCT are very pleased to have Wike as their minister, and declared that they are fully in support of the President and the Minister for their ‘thoughtfulness and swift actions’ to see to the growth of Abuja and the welfare of civil servants.

The elder statesman further said with the establishment of the FCT Civil Service Commission, the FCT will have Permanent Secretaries in the Secretariats and a Head of Service, and workers in the FCT will have a bright future before retirement.

Dara, who described President Tinubu as a consummate democrat and the leader of progressives, expressed confidence that he would not leave the FCT Natives behind throughout his administration.

He also commended the FCT Minister for tackling insecurity problems in the FCT, by directing the six area council chairmen to constitute surveillance teams in their respective domains, saying that the surveillance team would help in checking activities of illegal mining in communities, which create avenues for insecurity.

Dara said they are hopeful that the Minister, Nyesom Wike will be the last appointed Minister for the FCT, and that the next one would be a legitimately elected governor, saying that it will be a golden name fit and good for President Bola Tinubu.
