The Federal Government has announced Monday October 10, 2022, as public holiday to mark this year’s Eid-il-Maolud celebration In remembrance of the birth of the holy prophet Muhammad.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the minister of Interior, made known this declaration on behalf of the Fedral government, he also congratulated all Muslims both in the country and abroad for witnessing this year’s occasion

In a statement issued, Aregbesola urged Nigerians, especially Muslims to desist from violence, Lawlessness and other acts of criminality.
