Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across the state, describing security as a fundamental requirement for peace, sustainable development and economic prosperity.
Governor Kefas stated this on Tuesday in Jalingo when he received the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 10 Division of the Nigerian Army, at the T.Y. Danjuma House.
The meeting, focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the Taraba State Government and the Nigerian Army, particularly in maintaining peace and responding effectively to emerging security challenges.
The governor stressed that his administration would continue to support security agencies operating in the state, noting that a secure environment was essential for attracting investment, promoting economic activities and improving the wellbeing of residents.
