Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, sacked the General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Bolaji Oreagba.
Sanwo-Olu also appointed Bakare Oki Olalekan as the acting GM of LASTMA with immediate effect.
Announcing the development in a statement, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transportation, Olawale Musa explained that Bakare-Oki’s appointment is for better performance and continued effective traffic management on Lagos roads.
Before his appointment, Bakare-Oki was the Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering Department of LASTMA.
While congratulating Bakare-Oki for his appointment, the governor also appreciated the outgoing General Manager for his commitment and meritorious service to the state.
