Imo Poll: ‘Some Men Took Away Result Sheets’, Says INEC Officer [VIDEO]

On Saturday, a representative of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Imo State’s Oguta Local Government Area (LGA) asserted that some men broke into her voting booth and stole the results.

The men arrived on motorcycles and took result sheets, according to Sandra Adimonye, INEC presiding officer at the town school in Egwe Ebbuoma Ward of the Oguta LGA.

She claimed that despite the fact that voting is still going on, INEC has been informed of the incident and will be bringing new result sheets to record the results.

The electoral officer and party agents got into a heated argument over the development.
