Alhaji Muhammed Suleiman, the Dan Amar of Dutse and district head of Basirka (Hakimi Basirka) in Jigawa State has been confirmed dead.
According to Daily Trust, the traditional ruler died alongside his two children in an accident along Basirka Gwaram road, while on their way to Gwaram on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
His wife and two of his children survived the accident, according to the Sarkin Yaki Dutse, Abubakar Dutse.
It was learnt that the funeral was held on Thursday at the emir’s palace in Dutse.
