Vice President, Kashim Shettima, on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, has condoled with the people of Ikulu, Kamuru emirate in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State over the death of Agwom Akulu, Yohanna Sidi Kukah.
Shettima arrived in Ikulu emirate where he was received by the Catholic Archbishop of Sokoto, Mathew Hassan Kukah, whose younger brother the deceased was.
Speaking, the Vice President expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Ikulu on this loss.
He also used this opportunity to reaffirm the federal government’s commitment to promoting rural development.
According to him: “I come on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to condole with the people of Ikulu on the great loss of Agwom Akulu, Yohanna Sidi Kukah. We are with you at this difficult time, and I pray that God will grant his family and the people the fortitude to bear this loss.”
Shettima added:
“The federal government will continue to work hard to ensure the development of rural areas to ensure the well-being and well-being of the people.”
