Terrorists storm Jos community, kill many on Palm Sunday

Terrorists have killed many and injured several others during an attack on the Angwan Rukuba area of Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The terrorists attacked unsuspecting residents of the community in the late hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Footage of the incident as seen by Cliq.ng showed victims lying in the pool of blood with many dead and several others injured.

The victims who were attacked by the bandits were caught outside while the world commemorated Palm Sunday, a day that set aside to mark the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.

Angwan Rukuba, a community that hosts Plateau State indigenes and students of the prestigious University of Jos, is a few minutes’ drive away from the prestigious institution.

At the time of filing this report, the state police command had yet to issue a statement on the attack.
