Trump’s threats exposed unpatriotic, hateful Nigerians – Gumi claims

Controversial Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi has claimed that President Donald Trump’s claim of Christian massacre in Nigeria exposed unpatriotic, hateful citizens.

Cliq.ng reports that Trump recently designated Nigeria as Country of Particular Concerns following claims of persecution of Christians living in the country.

He further threatened military action in Nigeria to eliminate the terrorists perpetrating the alleged massacre of Nigerian Christians.

The claim divided Nigerians as some backed the report while others insisted that the security issues in Nigeria does not target a particular religion.

Gumi had since dismissed the claim, urging Trump, who named Nigeria a disgraceful country to retract his words.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the Islamic scholar said the US President’s move has exposed those who do not wish the country good.

He wrote, “Trump’s lies about ‘Christian genocide’ in Nigeria have exposed unpatriotic, hateful citizens who wish no good for the nation. We can’t be deceived anymore”.
