Zamfara Gov't Orders Reopening Of Night Markets

Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Muhammad Matawallen, has ordered for the immediate re-opening of markets, especially in Gusau, the state capital and other major cities of the state for night transactions.

The governor said the order was in line with his administration’s sympathy to allowed Muslim faithful in the state purchase commodities and other essential materials so as to conduct Sallah celebrations with relative ease.

Governor Bello Matawalle directed businessmen and women to continue with their transactions and business activities throughout the night.

He also ordered security agencies to ensure free movement of people in the night and at the same time ensure hitchf-free Sallah celebrations.
