The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), have today, suspended the 3-month-old strike, just 9 days to the presidential election.
It is clearly understood that the reason for the suspension of the strike is due to over 22 million students who are likely to miss voting during the elections because they traveled home (because of the strike).
ASUU took to their Twitter account to announce the suspension.
