Chelsea Reportedly Plans To Replace Sarri With Tottenham's Pochettino

Reports have it that Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, is set to replace Maurizio Sarri with Tottenham’s coach Mauricio Pochettino.

The Blues returned to winning ways with a 5-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, following their 4-0 humiliation at Bournemouth.

However, Abramovich is already losing patience with Sarri, whose side are locked in a three-way battle with Arsenal and United, for the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Chelsea were reported to be interested in Pochettino last summer, before appointing Sarri to succeed Antonio Conte.

Sarri made an instant impact at Stamford Bridge, but results and performances have dipped, since he suffered the first defeat of his reign against Pochettino’s Spurs side back in November.

It would cost Abramovich around £50million in compensation, to prise the Argentine from North London and the former Southampton manager’s preference remains United.
