#OndoDecides: BVAS Reported 97% Success Rate – Ondo REC

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ondo State, Oluwatoyin Babalola, has reported that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) has recorded a 97 per cent success rate in the ongoing Ondo State Governorship election on Saturday.

She disclosed this to newsmen while monitoring the election at some centres in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

She was accompanied by the National Commissioner of INEC, Kenneth Onyeakwu, and the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, Oladipo Abayomi.

According to Babalola, the election has been running smoothly, adding that polls were opened very early with impressive voter turnout.

She also expressed confidence that the election will be concluded without issues.
