Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has failed to clinch the All Progressives Congress ticket for Gaya, Ajingi and Albasu federal constituency which he contested for.
Ahmad who polled only 16 votes at the primary election which was held today, said he left venue of the election because there were thugs.
The incumbent lawmaker who won the election, Mahmoud Abdullahi Gaya polled 106 votes.
