FC Barcelona goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen is set to return to action very soon.
The goalstopper could be in post next week in Barcelona’s tie with Real Betis in La Liga, according to a new report from Spain.
The German has been sidelined after undergoing surgery in the off-season.
Ter Stegen will receive the medical green light on Wednesday, in time for Barcelona’s match in the UEFA Champions League against Dynamo Kiev. However, out of precaution, Neto would continue as the starter for that match.
It would only be until next Saturday when Ter Stegen would return, to make his first appearance for Barcelona this season.
Ter Stegen has been progressing well and is already back in training, as is Samuel Umtiti. Neither player has featured so far this term.
