Barcelona’s Squad Against Osasuna Announced

Messi's Move To PSG

Spanish giants, Barcelona, return to action in La Liga with an important home game against Osasuna at Camp Nou, and Ronald Koeman has called up the following 21 players for Sunday’s clash:

Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto, 26. Iñaki Peña

Defenders: 2. Sergiño Dest, 15. Clément Lenglet, 18. Jordi Alba, 24. Junior Firpo, 28. Óscar Mingueza

Midfielders: 5. Sergio Busquets, 6. Carles Aleñá, 8. Miralem Pjanic, 12. Riqui Puig, 14. Philippe Coutinho, 16. Pedri, 19. Matheus Fernandes, 21. Frenkie De Jong

Forwards: 7. Antoine Griezmann, 9. Martin Braithwaite, 10. Lionel Messi, 11. Ousmane Dembélé, 17. Francisco Trincão

Barça get three key players back from this one: Messi and De Jong are back from a rest in midweek, while Sergio Busquets returns after recovering from a knee injury suffered in international duty. That’s the only good news though, with Ansu Fati (knee), Gerard Piqué (knee), Sergi Roberto (thigh), Ronald Araujo (hamstring) and Samuel Umtiti (knee) all out with injuries, though it is expected that Araujo will be returning soon, possibly next week.

Predicted starting XI (4-4-2):

Ter Stegen; Mingueza, De Jong, Lenglet, Alba; Dembélé, Pjanic, Busquets, Coutinho; Messi, Griezmann
