Transgender athlete Jammie Booker was outed as a ‘biological male’ after winning the 2025 World’s Strongest Woman competition thanks to an erotic photo that was sent to fellow competitors.
Booker was originally crowned champion at the event in Arlington, Texas last weekend. However, the athlete was stripped of the title on Tuesday after images of their prior career as a transgender porn star emerged.
Organisers disqualified Booker on Tuesday and released a statement addressing the controversy. “It appears that an athlete who is biologically male and who now identifies as female competed in the Women’s Open category,” Official Strongman Games said. “We are clear – competitors can only compete in the category for the biological sex recorded at birth.”
The decision elevated runner-up, 43-year-old Andrea Thompson, from Great Britain to first place. While some competitors – including Thompson – suspected Booker of cheating at the time of the contest, others had no idea.
Hailey Sikman and Jade Dickens, who both competed at the Texas event, have provided insight into their experiences of facing Booker. Both insisted nobody at the event knew about Booker’s biological sex until after the competition had concluded, saying their opponent “definitely conned himself in and manipulated a situation.”
Booker “Didn’t Talk Much” to Avoid Detection, Claims Rival
“I was beyond mad,” Dickens told Fox News Digital. “Had I known, I definitely would have done something about it, personally would have done something about it prior to the event being over. But nobody knew. Nobody knew he was a man.”
Sikman revealed she attempted to engage with Booker during the competition but was rebuffed. “I tried to talk to him, and he kind of just blew me off.”
Dickens offered her own theory as to why Booker remained largely silent throughout the event: “I didn’t personally speak to him. He was actually pretty quiet. In my opinion, the reason he didn’t talk much was because his voice would have revealed he was male.”
Jammie Booker’s Adult Entertainment Past Revealed By Investigation
A Daily Mail investigation identified an adult performer going by the name “Jammie Jay”, whose image bears a strong resemblance to Booker. Additionally, Booker uses the social media handle @jammiejaysvids on TikTok. The IAFD (internet adult film database) website shows they were nominated for awards at the Trans Erotica Awards Show in both 2020 and 2022.
In a YouTube video uploaded in September 2017, Booker stated: “I’m a 21-year-old trans woman with a history of abuse, struggling to stay true to herself while under the rule of her religious parents.”
During a podcast appearance in July, Booker revealed she maintains relationships with three partners simultaneously. Booker revealed how such a lifestyle is managed with host and former strongwoman champion Erin Murray: “How do I balance partners, a full-time job and training? Google calendars. I take each one of my partners on a date once a week,” Booker explained.
The controversy has understandably reignited debate about biological males competing in women’s sporting events, with many arguing that physical advantages gained through male puberty create fundamentally unfair competition regardless of gender identity.
