Cameroonian female football star, Ajara Njoya Nchout has agreed a deal in principle to join Atletico Madrid in the Liga Ibedrola.
The move comes after she announced her departure from Norwegian side Valeranga.
Njoya now becomes the second-high profile African player to join a major European club after Asisat Oshoala.
This move will give her the opportunity to challenge Oshoala’s position at the top of African female football.
It will be the biggest challenge to Oshoala’s position since fellow Cameroonian, Gaelle Enganamouit took the world by storm in 2015.
