Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Tuchel will miss the FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
A club press release on the news read: “Thomas Tuchel has tested positive for Covid-19.
“The Chelsea head coach will now follow necessary self-isolation protocols and hopes to join up with the team in Abu Dhabi later next week.
“The team fly out for the Club World Cup following this afternoon’s FA Cup clash with Plymouth Argyle.”
The Blues will face either Al Jazira or Al Hilal in the Club World Cup semi finals on Wednesday 6 February, and could then face Copa Libertadores winners Palmeiras in the final of the tournament.
