According to new reports, Barcelona star player, Lionel Messi is ready to stay at Barcelona till he is ready to move to Inter Miami by 2023.

Messi, whose contract is up in the summer, came close to ending his iconic 19-year spell with the Catalan giants in the most recent transfer window after he told the club via burofax that he wanted to leave.

The 33-year-old ended up staying but continues to be linked with the exit at the Nou Camp – and he’s not short of options on where he could go next.

The report would support claims that Messi is ready to see out his career with David Beckham’s Inter Miami, with the Argentine recently admitting that a move to the USA is something that interests him.

In a recent interview, Messi did reveal that he would be interested in a move to the USA at some point in his career.

‘I would like to play in the United States and experience life and the league there…. but ultimately come back to Barcelona in some capacity.

‘I’m not thinking too far ahead in the short term and just want to see how the season finishes.’
