Lionel Messi’s father has stated that the Barcelona star won’t sign for French side, Paris Saint-Germain.
Many reports suggest that Manchester City will come knocking this winter and it seems highly likely given the fact that an official from the Etihad has confirmed that the club has kept finances ready to accommodate him.
But Manchester City are not the only ones that want to sign Lionel Messi. Paris Saint-Germain has also shown a great deal of interest as the Ligue 1 side hopes to reunite Messi and Neymar.
However, Jorge Messi, who is Leo Messi’s father/agent, has debunked the rumours about PSG’s offer to sign the 33-year-old as fake transfer rumours.
Jorge Messi’s statements could now mean that Manchester City has the green light to go all out for Messi. The possible reunion of Leo and Pep Guardiola seems exciting and will definitely be a treat for Premier League fans given the success the pair have achieved together at Camp Nou.
