Real Betis captain, Joaquin believes his team have to be “perfect” and take their chances if they are to beat Barcelona at the weekend in La Liga.
The two sides meet at the Camp Nou before the season pauses again for the last international break of a chaotic year.
Joaquin’s Betis head into the match after a 3-1 win over Elche last time out, and the captain wants his side to maintain their momentum.
“The idea is to win, whatever way; whenever you go to the Camp Nou you have to play the perfect game, compete until the end and score the chances you have. We go with the philosophy of the last match, that of going for the game with our weapons and knowing that we have to compete at 200%, being aware of the difficulty that the Camp Nou entails.”
The match sees Joaquin come up against Ronald Koeman. The winger’s already spoken out about the Dutch coach ahead of the match but added that he wouldn’t be saying any more “because everything I say is going to be multiplied by ten.”
