Acting Is More Profitable Than Music – Oluchi Odii

An actress and singer, Oluchi Odii, has said that acting has been more financially rewarding for her than music.

The former Project Fame contestant told Saturday Beats that although music was her first love and she got into acting through the former, acting had been more profitable for her.

She added; “Even though music is my first love and I got into acting through music, acting has been more profitable for me. I invested in it, and will continue to do that.

When it comes to music, one might not begin to reap the fruits of one’s labour immediately.

It is after a while when people know about one, that one starts to make money from one’s music.”

Odii also disagreed with the notion that entertainers, especially females, find it hard to keep their marriages. She said;

“Marital issues have nothing to do with one being an actor. People have marital issues, irrespective of their professions.

I don’t like to attribute it to the fact that one is an actor or a musician. It depends on the person, not the person’s job.”

She also stated that if she was not an entertainer, she would probably own a farm, as she was a lover of agriculture.
