Appeal Court Suspends Hearing Of Oshiomhole’s Appeal

The Court of Appeal, Abuja has suspended its hearing of an appeal by Adams Oshiomhole against the judgment of a federal high court suspending him as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Oshiomhole and his loyalists were reported to be at the court premises since 8am on Monday to know his fate but the panel to preside on the judgement led by Justice Stephen Adah rose up minutes after beginning the hearing.

According to The Nation, the panel said another jury will be constituted to hear Oshiomole’s appeal on a day which will be communicated to the parties involved.

As he exited the courtroom, with his supporters behind, Oshiomhole told journalists that he would await the court’s decision in the case.

Oshiomhole’s appeal is against an earlier judgment of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which among others, restrained him acting as the National Chairman of the APC.
