Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Accord Party for the 2026 governorship election.
Governor Adeleke emerged winner at the Accord Party primary election with 145 votes.
Cliq.ng reports that the screening committee of the Accord Party had earlier screened and cleared Gov. Ademola Adeleke for the party’s governorship primary.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Ibe Thankgod, the chairman of the committee and also the party’s National Organising Secretary, on Wednesday in Osogbo.
He said the committee subsequently cleared Adeleke as the sole aspirant for the party’s governorship ticket and concluded all required documentation with the relevant bodies.
