Popular Fintech app, Opay have revealed why users could not access the app on Wednesday.
Cliq.ng can confirm that the opay mobile money app was not working on Wednesday evening around 6pm until the time of this report.
Many users took to social media to complain about the downtime and some even made jokes out of the situation, warning that nothing should happen to their money.
Opay have now confirmed the reason for the downtime.
The official X handle posted the following:
Dear Esteemed Customers,
We would like to inform you that our third-party providers are currently upgrading their system.
During this period,you may experience challenges completing transactions via the Card, the App, and other channels.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you for your understanding.
