Governor Wike Rescues Former NDDC Acting MD, Joy Nunieh From House Arrest (Video)

Rivers State Governor, Governor Nyesom Wike has personally rescued former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh from “house arrest”.

Joy Nunieh who is to testify before a house committee as part of the ongoing probe against NDDC on Thursday July 16, was reportedly stopped from leaving her home by policemen who stormed her apartment in the early hours of today.

Nunieh had also been enmeshed in a public face-off with Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio who she accused of embezzlement and sexually harassing her.

According to TVC, Governor Wike forcefully gained entrance into Joy Nunieh’s residence, ordered the police officers out and later drove off with her.
