Real Sociedad player, David Silva has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Spanish side announced that the 34-year-old underwent Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) exams at the Gipuzkoa Polyclinic on Monday morning, where the result was later confirmed.

According to the club, Silva already tested negative on Friday after undergoing exams in his native Gran Canaria, before this second test sprung the positive result.
